PORT
INFORMATION: |
|
Island of
Labuan is 12 miles long and 7 miles wide
lying
off N.W.
coast of Borneo at entrance at Brunei
Bay. It is part of State of Sabah and is
only 405 miles from mainland
and some 77 miles from the state of Kota
Kinabalu. The Port situated at Lat 05o
164'40N Long 115o 14'24"E.

Procedure
:
i.
Pilotage is not compulsory.
ii.
Vessels should send ETA a 72h,48h and
24h in advance.
iii.
Berthing Master boards about 2 n mile
WSW of the SBM.
iv. Pilot
available id adequate notice is given
but pilotage is
not compulsory for
vessels normally
berth between 0600
hours and 1800 hours and unberthing at
any hour of the
day or night provided that notice, of
such movement received
between 0800hrs and 1600hrs.
