MCC Transport has introduced a new intra-Asia (IA-8) service, which provides direct and fast transit between ports in Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, China, Taiwan and Malaysia.
MCC Transport is an intra-Asia carrier handling all containerised cargo movements in the region for the AP Moller-Maersk Group. MCC operates more than fifty vessels, ranging from 600 TEU to 3,000 TEU and offers an extensive feeder network through commercial representation in fourteen countries throughout Asia.
The new IA-8 service runs on a 28-day rotation covering the ports of Jakarta (JICT), Surabaya, Manila, Nagoya, Shimizu, Tokyo, Yokohoma, Shanghai, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, and back to Jakarta (JICT).
The first sailing for IA-8 is expected to depart Tanjung Pelepas on February 25th |
