Additional Road A Boost For Taman Intan

The opening of a new additional road in Taman Intan in Klang by the Yang DiPertua of Majlis Perbandaran Klang, Tuan Abd Bakir Bin Hj Zin this morning, will be a boost for the bustling commercial hub.

"Access to Taman Intan in Klang will be considerably enhanced and the business community in Taman Intan as well as parents, teachers and school children of the primary school located in Taman Intan can now enjoy better traffic flow,"said Tuan Abd Bakir.

The previously quiet commercial center of Taman Intan is now a hive of activity since the completion of the twin tower office complex - Intan Millennium Square (IMS) which comprise Menara ING and Menara Trend.

Standing majestically beside the Federal Highway at the gateway into Klang, IMS which has become a new landmark building in Klang has since become a catalyst of growth for Taman Intan and has attracted various large corporations including ING Insurance, Maybank and a large concentration of shipping companies to move into the complex.

The additional road that was built by Trend Intan Development Sdn Bhd, the developer of IMS, is aimed at improving the flow of the large volume of traffic generated by growing commercial activities in the area that is bounded by commercial properties and larg& number of shop lots and a Chinese primary school.

According to the Chairman / Managing Director of Trend Intan Development Sdn Bhd, Mr Ng Kong Ling, the development of the road was made possible following the approval given by the Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) with the cooperation of Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK), and the Land Office Klang.

"We are grateful to all the local authorities for the support extended towards the improvement of the traffic flow system in the area, and we also like to thank the State Assemblyman YB Dato' Dr Teh Kim Poo for his kind assistance," he said.

Mr Ng added "we are pleased to be in position to contribute towards the enhancement of the road infrastructure in Taman Intan which will benefit not only the school but also facilitate the business communities who have chosen to site their office in IMS due to its strategic location, being within easy access to the major highways that makes travelling to the ports and the rest of Klang Valley easy".

Besides the hive of financial / commercial activities in Menara ING, Menara Trend has the highest concentration of shipping / maritime companies in one single building in the country.

Occupants at IMS welcomed the initiative taken by the Trend Intan Development Sdn Bhd to develop the access road at its own cost and this reflects the commitment by the developer to provide value-added services to them.

"We are certainly pleased with the efforts of the developer to provide the new alternative road as this would go a long way to enhance the strategic location of the complex as it provide greater accessibility to the occupants and visitors to IMS," said Mr G Durairaj, the managing director of Ports World Sdn Bhd, a pioneer occupant of IMS engaged in transport research and resource management.

According to the managing director of Great Vision Wealth Planner Sdn Bhd, Mr James Tan, the hassle free pro-business environment provided by the developer in IMS is a plus factor as businessmen here can focus on their income generating activities. Mr James Tan whose company occupies an entire floor in Menara ING added "The developer's exemplary effort to build the road for public use and convenience is commendable and this will certainly enhance the 'feng tsui' of Taman Intan".
