The new service commenced with the arrival of M.V Buxmaster at Northport, Port Klang on 31 March 2006 said the general manager of Dongnama Shipping (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Ronnie L.G Yeoh.

The FIX service routing will cover the ports of Inchon, Kwan yang, Pusan (Korea), Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chiwan (China), Singapore, Port Klang, Penang an Mundra/Nhava Sheva in its Southbound sailings.

The FIX northbound service routing will cover Mundra/Nhava Sheva (India), Penang, Port Klang, Singapore, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Inchon, Kwan yang, Busan, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Chiwan.

The FIX service is operated by six vessels of 1,800 teus capacity and Dongnama Shipping contributes four vessels and its joint partner, SYMS Line, the other two vessels.

Ronnie said the FIX service would be scheduled on a fixed day port call at Northport every Tuesday and at Penang on every Thursday (southbound) and northbound at Penang every Friday and Port Klang on every Saturday.
