PILOTAGE: |

Pilotage

by
the
marine
department.
ii.
Though
pilotage is not compulsory, it is
advisable for longer vessels to have a
pilot on board when navigating the port's
approaches.
iii.
Application
for
pilotage
should
be
made
24
hours
before
a
ship's
arrival.

APPROACH: |

There are two
approaches to the Rajang
Port:
a)
Through
the
Paloh
route
up
to
Sibu
and
Sg.
Merah
by
vessels
between
2,500
-
10,000 grt.
b)
Through
Rajang
River
to
the
Tanjong
Manis
Anchorage,
Sarikei
and
Bintangor,
Sibu
and
Sg.Merah
