Northport (Malaysia) Bhd, the port operating subsidiary of NCB Holdings has emerged stronger following its merger with its subsidiary Klang Port Management Sdn Bhd, and its now ready to do battle.
 
NCB Holdings Bhd (NCB), the parent company for Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (NMB) - the renamed ofKlang Container Terminal Bhd following it's acquisition of Klang Port Management Shd Bhd (KPM) - and Kontainer National Bhd (KN), is preparing itself to cope with more changes in the challenes in the challenging operating environment.
 
Disclosing this NCB Group Managing Director and NMB Chairman, Dr. Abdul Samad Mohamed said NMB was now in firm control to forge ahead with the various internal changes put in place following the merger.
 
Dr. Samad said this in NCB latest annual report that reveals the financial results for the year ended 31 December 2001 for the group and its subsidiaries.
