New Business Unit Formed

Johor Port Bhd has re-organised its management team to further strengthen cohesiveness and meet the demand of the fast-changing trading environment.

Datuk Mohd Taufik Abdullah at the helm as the Executive Chairman of the Johor Port Bhd, while Abdul Khalid Lal Khan has been appointed as the Executive Director of the port operating company.

Under the restructuring, the Board has created four major units namely, Port Management, Corporate Services, Port Operation and Legal & Company Secretary.

Mohamad Bustami Yahaya has been appointed as the Director of the Port Management Unit. He will be in charge of the Human Resources, Health, Safety & Security, Property & Free Zone and Engineering Departments.

The Corporate Services unit is headed by Mohd Nazri Shariff who will be looking after Finance& Account, Corporate Affairs,Tenders & Procurement, Administration and the Information Technology Department.

Dr Lim Meng Soon heads the Port Operation unit. He will be in charged of the container and bulk terminals as well as related technical and marine support services.

Maimoon Sirat heads the Legal and Company Secretary Division.
